5 Good Reasons Why Nobody Accepts Your Guest Posts

If you have started to wonder about why nobody seems to accept your guest posts, perhaps you need to look a little closer to home. Because no matter how great you may think that your content is, others may have a rather different opinion. And maybe the way that you try and pitch the actual article may be falling way short of the mark. The truth is that there are plenty of wrong and right ways to get your guest post efforts out there, but maybe you need a little refresher course? So don’t worry too much because we have got some very cool ways to see if you are making a mess of those guest post pitches and maybe you can turn this all around sooner rather than later. So please take a few minutes from your busy schedule and we’ll see if we can help!

Lack of Personalisation

Let’s get one thing straight, when you are pitching your guest post to a new blogger, you need to be rather personal, and in a good way. If you send the same pitch to multiple bloggers, the chances are that they will all simply bin your email before even reading the content. If you cannot even be bothered to take the time to find out the name of the blogger, the chances are that your content will also be inappropriate. Try and use a slant that also works with the way that the blog is laid out, it just may make the difference.

Sloppy Seconds

Okay, it happens to the best of us, but when your outreach email has a few errors and sloppy mistakes, you should really not even bother sending it. Simply take a few minutes to check for bad spelling and incorrect grammar, it really is worthwhile. Once you have sent that bad boy off, you will never have a second chance to make that all-important first impression.

Try One More Time?

Sometimes, you may have written the perfect guest post pitch and you still receive no reply. It is okay to try again because maybe something happened with the blogger that was beyond your own control. Try and send a second and even third reminder, and at least you should get some kind of response, even if it is telling you to stay away!

Drop The Compliments

You may really dig the 3rd party blog but any over the top or fake flattery will usually turn the host off instead of having the reverse effect. If you really do know your onions, by all means point out that you know and respect the blog and the blogger, but stay away from false compliments because they usually fall rather flat.

If you are using a fake account to send out your outreach emails, you will usually impress nobody at all. So set up a real Gmail account and add in your other social network profiles. This will at least show the blogger that you are the real deal.

Just remember that if you are using vinyl graphics for your business promotion, follow these tips and you should soon be in a very sweet spot indeed!
